My 'start' as a photographer was working in B&W, with my own darkroom. I developed the practice of over-coverage ... my capture in film was often
a starting point to the final photograph:one that was cropped to what I considered the preferred, limited content. I still do that today.
Digital photography gives me even more control of the final image. This page shows versions of some of my recent photographs.
Yes, several have other versions as well.
In September of 2009 we made our second visit to les Iles-de-la-madeleine.
We had all kinds of weather. Wind, rain, sunshine, overcast ... you name it, we had it, and that was great. There were lots of photographic opportunities. What you see here is just a sampling of our 7 day feast. Don't worry about how you get here, just come ... and enjoy wonderful hospitality!
